  • the MOR encounter 663A Driggs Avenue Brooklyn, NY, 11211 United States (map)

Blockprinting is an ancient technique to transform textiles with color & patterns. Let's create an original piece! Co-hosted by Jenny Cooper, IXV Coffee

About this Event

Bring a clothing item or textile item with you. It will then be adapted to present day and you can transform your clothes into your new favorites with these hand carved blocks and a color story created for the season. The blocks are all carved in Bagru, India. We will help you figure out how to make your clothes loved again (or maybe hide a spot ;-) with this gorgeous, heritage print technique. You can also create your own bandanas, napkins, tea towels and totes, all 100% cotton and made in India. (available for purchase)

This (re)work station will be open from 2-4PM; come and go as you please!
